These afternoons, which will meet on select Sundays from 4:00-5:15 pm in the Parish Conference Center (prior to the 5:30 pm Sunday Mass), encompass and build the foundation of our junior high faith formation program. JHFF Sunday Sessions are for all middle school grades (6-8), and are an opportunity for the youth to enjoy food and fellowship, and to dive deeper into our Catholic faith and the Bible specifically.

The middle school program uses Loyola Press' Finding God. Finding God features Catholic content shared in a rich context with beautiful Catholic art, thoughtful prayers, and engaging activities and experiences that will draw children in to fully learn, experience, and express their faith. Every session creates an environment in which children connect and further develop Catholic identity and literacy.
We also incorporate elements of Catechesis of the Good Shepherd into our lesson plans. The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, also known as the Montessori Catechesis, is an educational process of religious formation. This process helps children to develop an authentic prayerful relationship with God who loves them, through the use of sensorially rich materials.
