Junior High Faith Formation (JHFF)
The junior high faith formation program here at St. Clare's has been restructured from its days as "IMPACT," and renamed to "Junior High Faith Formation (JHFF)."
JHFF is for all middle school grades (6-8), and our goal is to provide an opportunity for the youth to enjoy building a community through fellowship, and diving deeper into our Catholic faith and the Bible specifically.
This past year and next year, our focus is on the Bible, specifically learning the different books of the Bible (not just memorizing the names but the actual content), the historical context as well as the literary forms found in the Bible. JHFF uses elements from both Loyola Press' Finding God and Catechesis of the Good Shepherd for the curriculum, essentially building on Sandra Trevino's pre-K-5th religious curriculum used in the St. Clare's elementary faith formation. -
